Coachella 2017 Food

We are getting close to Coachella 2017 and that means we are going to start getting quite a few announcements. The latest is Coachella has finally announced there 2017 food vendors! You can find the full list of Coachella 2017 food vendors here. As usual the list is primarily places from the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

In general things are pretty standard and similar to Coachella's of years past. The general admission food area is now called The Boardwalk, so on the aforementioned list of restaurants when it says the location is "The Boardwalk" that is the GA area where food is typically located. Coachella has also renamed the VIP area "Hacienda Del Toro" so if you see that referenced on the food page that's what theya re talking about.

One change is Coachella 2017 will feature pop-up restaurants. These are full service, sit-down meals featuring "three of Southern California's most notable restaurants". Unfortunately though these are only available for people with Coachella VIP passes. If you are going VIP to Coachella 2017 you can make reservations via Open Table here. The three restaurants are KINDRED, Playa Provisions and Little Sister. Each take reservations for dinner beginning at 6:00 p.m. You can find all the information on the individual restaurants available as pop-ups here.

If you are mostly interested in the adult beverages you will be happy to know the Craft Beer Barn will be returning with a wide variety of local and regional craft beers. The new VIP area will feature Broken Shaker, which is a new place to snag some fancy, overpriced cocktails if that's your thing. Finally, and perhaps most interesting, is PDT (Please Don't Tell), which is a NYC speakeasy staple, will be featured in the Rose Garden and VIP area. This is a great place to snag a fancy beverage as well. You can get all the information on adult beverages at Coachella 2017 here.

There's a lot more information on Coachella's website on the food program, so check it out if you are interested. The next expected major Coachella lineup is the 2017 set times, which should be out next Tuesday most likely (4/11/2017). Check back for more updates!
