When is Shaky Knees 2018 Presale / Early Bird?

The Shaky Knees presale has been announced for 12/6/2017. Get all the details on the Shaky Knees presale by checking out our latest news post on it.

When will Shaky Knees Announce Their Lineup for 2018?

Perhaps the day Shaky Knees fans most look forward to all year, besides the actual festival, is the release of the lineup. The table below shows the date going back four years of when Shaky Knees has released their lineup.

Year

Day of Lineup Announcement

2014

January 15th

2015

January 14th

2016

January 11th

2017

January 10th

As you can see Shaky Knees is fairly consistent with the mid-January release date of their lineup. If you are into music festivals you know this is a busy time of the year as many festivals such as Coachella, Bonnaroo, Governors Ball and others are also releasing their lineup at this time of the year. Shaky Knees usually waits for these bigger festivals to announce and then will release their lineup.

Shaky Knees 2018 Ticket Sales Date

Typically Shaky Knees will put their tickets up the same day of the lineup release. C3, who operates Shaky Knees, does this with all of their festivals. So again, look for Shaky Knees to put their tickets up for sale in mid-January. For Shaky Knees 2017 tickets were $185 + fees. Generally festivals only get more expensive so your best case scenario is they stick with this price, but likely there will be some kind of an increase. Shaky Knees Accommodations

The graph below shows the average price of hotels in the Atlanta area during Shaky Knees. On our Shaky Knees Hotel Page we track Atlanta hotel prices everyday - you can even compare 2018 prices to 2017 prices. Average Hotel Price in Atlanta for Shaky Knees

Anyways, as you can see from the graph above (click the 2017 Hotel Prices in the legend to show more data) prices for hotels in Atlanta actually dropped as we got closer to Shaky Knees. We only began tracking for Shaky Knees in January but from then the prices have consistently dropped from $145 per night on average all the way down to about $115 on average. If you can wait on a Shaky Knees hotel you might be able to snag a deal. One warning is downtown Atlanta hotels, which will be closest to Shaky Knees, may fill up faster so be careful and watch the prices on these. We also provide individual hotel tracking. For example, you can see how the price has varied for each individual hotel in Atlanta so you can watch to see if it looks like it's starting to increase. In general though I'd wait as long as you can to book a Shaky Knees hotel. If you are new to Atlanta we wrote an extensive article on where in Atlanta you should stay for Shaky Knees that could be helpful.
